by Tiffany N. on Please avoid at all costs.. unless absolutely necessary like the event I came here for (Cerf & Jaren live) -Bartenders (except for the patio bartender) seem like they hate their lives.. and skipped me while I stood there for 5 min for someone who walked up and waited 5 seconds.. RUDE. -Security is strict, they took away my friend's keychains and caribeaners! I guess it's LA.... -the club itself is pretty small and has a 2nd room that led us into what felt like an Indian club with loud ass Indian rap music (umm I guess it exists since I walked into it myself. Yeah.. I was so confused...) -and don't bother trying to dress up looking cute.. the crowd here is WHACK. I'm sorry but it was proabably the worst bunch of people I've seen gathered in one spot. 1) Old people.. as in their FORTIES 2) Annoying tourists/out of country visitors who were drunk and shouting things in broken English 3) I'm sorry, but other really unattractive/out of shape people.. that's probably the nicest way to word it. 4) OLD ASIAN FOBS.. definitely NOT a hot spot.. at ALL.. at least they have hot go-go dancers I guess -___- When you hear this club being mentioned... just say NO.. and thank me later!
by Greg B. on Not sure why some of my friends always end up here. O wait, I do know why. It is because they went to high school in the greater Atlanta area, and sweat the South. They really fit in with their Sperry's and kahkis. This place is spacious with the inner atrium and fountain. If it were located in EAV, than it would probably be a really cool scene. Unfortunately, Buckhead doesn't stand for anything good and this place attracts the cream of the crap. Bartenders don't seem to represent the general populace. I think they are nice as long as you don't look like every other D-bag there. Go here if you like rich Southern guys.
by Evette Chesner on Updated 04/13/08 Came here again last night. The VIP entrance was downstairs at Hollywood Blvd. What's with that now? Anywhoo. Came here for Sam's bday. We chilled upstairs mostly instead of downstairs like last time. Lots of women. Lots of dancing. Lots of drinking. Where were all the boys? Well apparently it was estrogen fest night so you boys need to get to Highlands... like... now. Patios were nice and everyone was friendly. Good times as usual. Not many complaints at all. oh!!!!!!!! There was this go go dancer. WOWEEE. I should have gotten her name so she can teach me to dance like that. Ok. ANYONE KNOW THE GO GO DANCER THAT WAS DANCING AT HIGHLANDS LAST NIGHT in the main room, on the right side of the stage (if you were on stage)???? She's skinny as heck, asian, long dark hair, wearing a black bikini and COULD DANCE LIKE IT'S NOBODY'S BUSINESS!!! IF YOU KNOW HER, HAVE HER CALL ME. I WANT TO LEARN TO DANCE LIKE THAT. :) End of update. :D -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------- Birthday. Everyone came. LOTS of drinking. Alcohol poisoning.... UGH! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH FUN THOUGH! Nice decor. Girls in the bathroom were nice. Dancers were nice. Patio is nice. hahahhaha. LOL. Can you tell I had a nice drunken time? Hmm... I don't remember the music much. Probably because I was drunk. :) VIP Status hookup. No waiting BS. No waiting for anything. Everything was great. Everyone had a great time. Suite at the Renaissance. Promoters partied in my suite while I was puking my brains out.... hahaha.. well there you go! :)
