Went on a Wednesday night so there was no line and no cover. Very cool atmosphere blending an industrial feel with prohibition era speak easy. Waitresses in shiny flapper dresses and a nice (though expensif) array of cocktails. Silent movies playing on screen throughout the venue. The crowd was well-dressed but not formal.

My husband and I went to Cafe Circa with another couple last Friday. We had an absolutely amazing meal! The decor is very nice, we had great service, and we all loved our food. Particularly good were the appetizer mussels -- great sauce that my friend wanted to jar up and sell! The shrimp/sausage skewer appetizer was also excellent. We all loved our entrees... we had the tuna with amazing sweet potato cakes, the oxtail, pork chop, and crawfish etoufee. We hear they have a new executive chef and he seems to have done a great job with the menu.
