I've only come here for food with my family, never for the bar or ... whatever else appears to be in everyone else's reviews! I really enjoy their food, quite a lot and my parents did too. I'm sort of picky about my likes and dislikes with Mexican food, and they pleasantly surprised me! (I'm not a snob about authenticity, I just want tasty food.) We've gone there a few times now, and I've generally gotten the chicken soft tacos. I think you get three, and they're great! The grilled chicken is moist but not all watery/soupy like you get in some tacos, and they definitely don't skimp on the taco stuffings. I'm not a fan of beans, so I always get double rice -- their rice is perfect. Not dry and tasteless like you can get sometimes, it's moist and just right with tomato bits scattered around so it's not just plain old rice. My mom enjoyed her enchiladas, and my dad was pleased with the chicken mole. Their chips and salsa are pretty decent too! I never had a problem with bad service, but maybe I just caught them on a good day. Nice servers! Really good stuff! My only dislike was that we happened to go there one night when they had a Dodger game on TV, and I could barely hear myself think... the people at the bar were really obnoxious and the sound was turned up way too loud. =\ Guess I'll have to time my visits carefully.

Walking into a Sushi place and smelling fish makes me nauseous. I don't know how anyone who likes sushi could like this place. The sushi was reminiscent of the packaged sushi you can buy at a grocery store. O, but it is reasonably priced if that can somehow justify the sub par fish quality. Stick to the noodles and you will be happy. If you want sushi, right down the road is Taka Sushi, little more expensive, but a lot more worth it.

Hollywood and Highland is Vegas meeting Hollywood. Thankfully, I was there on a friday night for a birthday party so the line wasn't as long to wait and there was no cover since we got there before 10:30PM. Parking was great- $2 for 4 hours with validation (don't forget to get it validated at the coak check out- thanks rateclubs!) in the structure. The club is huge and spread out- it's made up of 3 different rooms- two of them with DJ's (though the better music was in the larger room with the stage) as well as an outdoor patio area to smoke and an upstairs outdoor area that has a nice view of hollywood (though it's more happening downstairs). It's cooold outside so bring a small jacket if you're going to be waiting in line. Drinks are expensive- about $9/drink. Overall, the club is okay- it's fun but I enjoyed the diversity and intimacy at Elevate.
