What a cool place to go for drinks. This is a perfect place for a date. They have a small food menu, but why in the world would you spend your money on food here when you can have a delicious drink instead? Or two. Or three. I recommend something called Royal Jubilee, at least that's what I think the waitress called it. Only bummer, they don't take Discover. I don't know why I bother asking.

I have to agree. This place has potential but it's going through an identity crisis. It's also close to my home and has good food but it's extremely over priced for what you get. Come on Vegan Village! We want to support you guys and recommend you to our friends but I can't see paying $13-15 dollars a plate for food being served in a space that also doubles as a night club at night. I could see if the ambiance was romantic and the decor was through the roof but veggie soul food should cost an arm and a leg.

3 (tres) reasons I can't stop going to Trudy's on campus - 1 - Mexican Martini (dos por favor) 2 - Stuffed chicken-avocado (with salsa verde) 3 - If you sit outside on the wooden bar facing the street with friends you can have hours of parallel parking entertainment. We even came up with a scale to judge parallel parkers - so if I'm there, and you can't parallel park - let's hope their parking lot is not full. I've never ordered ANYTHING else there and surprisingly and contrary to other reviews, I've never been disappointed. WTF are you guys getting anyway? I don't mind drunk college kids - we are in THEIR neighborhood so SUCK IT! If you prefer, you can go to smoke-infested South location or wannabe North location, but the middle ground is perfect for me. Voila, good drinks, good food, good entertainment - what more can one ask for? Maybe more chips and salsa. Edit* (p.s. Will y'all other reviewers please, por favor, stop saying Mexican Martini's - the plural of the drink is Mexican Martinis)
