I walked by here one night and decided to check it out and I'm glad I did! The pizza here is great, comparable with Starr's Pizzeria Stella. Unlike Stella, Pietro's is a little easier to get to and has a lot more space inside. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and the food arrived shortly after I ordered. Overall I'd recommend Pietro's if your in the area and looking for some good pizza, but if you want the best head to Pizzeria Stella.

So the reviews of Medici were great. And I really, really wanted to love this place because I know the owner. He runs our local bar, Place Pigalle. And while my experience at Medici wasn't horrible, it wasn't awesome either. The decor is a mess. Greg, pick a theme, a brand, and go with it. The wood salad bowls don't go with all the mirrors on the wall. And give your customers a glass when they order a beer. The food was inexpensive, which is definitely a nice change of pace in this city and with this recession. The market salad was good, a great portion size, too. My friend had the pizza and I thought it was good. My chicken marsala was good. No coffee, only espresso, which was HUGE, but next time, server, give me some sugar too. The dessert, the limoncello layer cake, was decent. Overall, it was pleasurable, but I wouldn't likely go back unless I was in the hood.

Being a huge ice cream fan in general, I had to check this place out as soon as I moved to town. I had heard of their fun flavors and staff, and was not dissappointed! I think their ice cream is delicious, and appreciate the ever rotating line-up of flavor options. The employees were super nice, and seemed to be having a good time. I liked the atmosphere so much, that I applied for a job there - despite already having another very well paying job. It's a fun place with great ice cream - what more could anyone want?
