I am very blessed to have tried the tasting menu at Zahav. Not only did we start out with the most amazing hummus (and for a girl who eats it every day, that's saying a lot), the server was very helpful in helping me pick out the best vegetarian dishes off the menu. The eggplant was phenomenal, as was the mushroom and feta plate. The grape leaves were good, but I feel as though I have had better in little Turkish coffee shops... That being said - the baklava with white chocolate ganache was one of the most amazing desserts I've ever had.) Service was attentive and friendly - he chose an excellent bottle of wine for our taste preference and was alert to our needs. I would definitely return here again!

Came to Polk St to bar hop for my roommate's bday on a Saturday night and had a blast! Keep your eye out for it though because I almost walked right past it after glancing at the Thai place that's RIGHT next door. haha It's not a super huge area inside but big enough to have somewhat of a dance floor. We got there fairly early (around 10pm) and it was still empty...the party got started closer to 11-11:30pm BUT the early birds got to hog some seats. They have daily drink specials which is pretty cool...I tried the Polk Punch and it was pretty tasty but not sure if there was really any alcohol in it. =P I also tried the pear/cranberry infused vodka shots and those were GOOD! Bar hopping in this area is great because there are bars right across the street to go to next...I left buzzed and happy by the end of the night!

Bowling is always a good time, but it's kind of overpriced. You can't beat the location, but for my money (and game) I prefer the lanes at Chelsea Piers.
