Arrived here shortly after 11pm on Saturday night and found already a good amount of people on the dance floor without being too packed. An hour later this place was way too crowded. The music is your typical all over the place Top 40 thing with a few house tracks and mainly commercialized hip hop club bangers. The crowd is mixed but high on testosterone which is reflected in aggressive drunks and wild dancing intoxicated couples. Yes and this comes with lots of grinding and what not.... Bar service was slow but then it was really crowded and folks are not very coherent in there after a certain hour. As usual this place gets a one star for having seating options and a second one for charging only $5 for cover. I might come back if there is an electro or house DJ - otherwise only Happy Hour or early drinks for me...

I went on a Popstars Friday and the few times i've been to this place before it's always been hit or miss so i was already prepared for the less than full attendance and the possible only average night. (the place is barren before 11:30 and the drinks are very weak) My BIGGEST gripe is the horrible service specifically from the bartender who needs customer service lessons. His service made me wish i didn't pay the $5 entrance fee and just went to the overcrowded Rage. At least there I usually have fun and the Bartenders (however extremely busy) are still perfectly courteous. Before i go further (cause the next will be long) I say save yourself the trouble and either go to ABBEY whose drink are granted more expensive but are made better and stronger or CANTINA which does 2 for 1 after 11 or MICKEYS which is a lot nicer than before or even RAGE which can get more than overcrowded but with 2 music rooms, there's options.. ::vent:: For those that are willing to read this much, the problem began at 11:30p when vodka cocktails are supposed to be $5 bucks before 12. 1. I bought 3 and the guy charged me $24. 2. noticing the mistake, I refrain from signing so i can ask him about it. He's about to give me my credit card but then refuses cause i didn't sign. (literally was about to hand it to me but then takes it away) 3. I point out to him it's only 11:30p and he argues w/ me it's 12:30a until he actually checks the time. 4. He offers me a free drink next time. However, i'm done for the night cause i have to drive and i highly doubt he's going to remember. So I don't tip cause i'm paying $9 over and there's no reason to tip. BUT, he still had the nerve to notice and throw the bill back at me and point out the fact i didn't tip him. 5. I sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding (which I definitely did not need to) and his response was "YAH and well sorry if I forget to give you your free drink" SERIOUSLY... what a f*cking asshole. He's in the wrong the whole time and he would have gotten his tip and everything if he handled the situation better. He wasn't even busy. Bunch of better free venues instead of this off the main strip place that has a cover.

I havent eaten here, but there cocktails are a lot of fun. If you're looking for a sweet, yummy drink order their strawberry cobbler.
