by Hannah C. on being a bit of a decor snob, i actually blurted out ooh's and ahh's upon my arrival at this place. actually, it was the blue-lit wall that did it for me. it was such a nice change from just-okay denim to this much nicer and upscale venue. the crowd was considerably older and a lot more mature, and the music was really good. overall, i think you'll have a good time here. i sure did.
by haley p. on I didn't get food, but I can't argue with a $2.50 amaretto sour (I don't drink to get drunk and that's the yummiest thing ever) at happy hour. They get minus one star because my friend (who had had 1 too many pitcher of beer) went to get me another drink and the guy charged her an extra dollar. Oh well, I should have gotten my own drink. I've never played beer pong... I hate beer, but my friend and I played against her boyfriend so she drank the beer and I got to take a turn throwing a ping pong ball at plastic cups... it's surprisingly fun! I now love beer pong, but I'll probably never play again. This was really the 2nd bar I've been to, but I had a great time. That said, I'm not going to be heading there every Friday night, but I wouldn't fault those that did. I left shortly after 8, but it wasn't too crowded.
by Karleen Yurick on A friend of mine and I managed to come here while it was surprisingly empty. Which was good as we were both in dire need of relaxation. Place is much hipper than my usual assortment of regular semi-divey or traditional Irish bars, but for various reasons, I am having to branch out. Brazilian sake: sake made better with sugar. Worth every penny, worth even two drinks and me getting red in the face. Hope to be back when it's not crowded.
