by Elle T. on hmm let's see. really not much good stuff to say about this place. decor was good. but the crowd...please...WACK. such a joke. this place is highly overrated. crowded with high school girls in cheap hooker clothes. don't waste your time and money. head to chelsea instead.
by Armand Knoell on So I was always curious about the food at this place since I walk about it all the town on my way to work. So since January is Dine About Town month, I decided to come here and check it out. The place was empty when we got there, but by the time we left, there were a few more parties there, but it still wasn't packed. The Dine About Town menu was really disappointing. For $31.95, they offered their special soup which turned out to be cabbage soup (no thanks), then veggie samosas for appetizer, and curry beef for the main course. Since the regular is more japanese "fusion", I was expecting more sushi or sashimi on their dine about town menu. Really wasn't expecting anything like cabbage soup. Yuck. Anyway, so for what you get for the money, we decided to just go about ordering from their regular menu. The appetizers were anywhere from $10-15/plate and the entrees were on average 20-25. All sushi nigiri is $6 for 2 pieces (pricey) and the rolls were anywhere from $10-15 per roll. We ordered 3 appetizers, 3 sushi rolls and 2 entrees for the 4 of us. When the food came out, we were pleasantly surprised. Presentation was nice, the flavors were deliciousand portions were actually decent. We thought we'd come away hungry, but we didn't. All in all, it was definitely worth it.
