by Fabian W. on We went for the tapas. Great Caribbean-American mix. We had rice & peas, salt fish & ackee, curry chicken roti and pound cake for dessert. Everything was very very good. The tables at the back offer a great ambiance and a very intimate atmosphere. I will definitely go back.
by David L. on I've been here a few times and always have a lot of fun. The sound upstairs is terrific -- they have an amazing sound system. Although the music downstairs is more to my liking -- it's very cozy and intimate, a really fun place to let yourself go. Each time I've been here I go to the same bartender, a guy at the upstairs bar with longish hair and the whole "punk" attire, he is incredibly fast and friendly and makes a mean drink. Sometimes there are drink specials, but otherwise it's rather expensive. The door-person/hostess is wonderfully charming and funny.
by Al Odowd on Ever drink in Ikea? I actually might check to see if Ikea has a bar theme along it's never ending maze. If it does it may as well be middlesex. Middlesex lounge is pretty much a warehouse with cheap rolling coffee tables, the latest and greatest in crunk and booze. I could have had a better time getting real ham boned on night train, strapping my headphones on an ear bleeding 11 and going to Ikea. Standing in line to get into this place is pure self degradation. Having to pay $5. is also a joke. Don't waste your time.
