BarChi was a surprise to both me and my companion. Located a brief stroll from congress, it not only had great quality but was also reasonably priced. If you are lucky enough to get there on a sunday, you will experience their happy hour special all day. This includes both sushi and drinks. The atmosphere is chilled and the waitresses are super friendly. If you are worried about missing the game, fear not. There is a screen by the bar where you can watch everything live! Otherwise this place is just awesome! I would recommend the sushi bento box and the green dragon! Peace!

Place is lame w. half the people in your group having to pay cover even though you're on the guest list...not fair to everyone...the drinks are mad expensive..might as well have someone buy you a drink to save money... came here a while back it is not all the rage as they say..I met LMFAO before they made it big & they performed *Im in Miami Bitch* the only highlight for me cause I actually knew about them before they made it big & then randomnly asked me & my friend to join their VIP table...*naahh I got a man *** it was so lame!

Ah Trudy's. It's one of those Austin "institutions" that everyone knows about and everyone seems to have an opinion on. I usually stick to eating brunch here on the weekends and their migas, chilaquiles, and migas enchiladas are all quite tasty. Dinner foods can be very hit or miss, though the stuffed avocado is pretty good. Of course these things aren't what Trudy's is famous for. When you mention Trudy's everyone has to mention their Mexican Martini's. While they do make a good one, the limit of two is nothing but a marketing ploy and never ceases to annoy me. The drinks are not any stronger than a margarita, and people that tell you otherwise are wrong. That being said, you'll still find me there on their "Top Shelf Tuesday" from time to time for the happy hour with coworkers thing. Trudy's is a great spot for happy hour if you have picky coworkers that would rather drink somewhere mainstream like this instead of a proper bar/pub.
