For cheap eats and spicy treats with plenty of veggie options, look no further than Hardena for getting the job done with satisfaction. Indonesian food was one cuisine that I still needed to cross off my list. So when my new roommate told me we were 3 blocks away from here, I was stoked and ready to take the plunge. and after walking through the rateclubs stickered doorway (am I the only one who digs that?) I was instantly welcomed by the smiling family who owns it. Hardena serves its mighty portions with a gusto. select 3 of the 10+ dishes that they have ready, get placed on a serving of rice, and if you like spicy order the hot sauce for that extra kick. And at $6 ($7 if you take full advantage of the meat dishes), its a vibrant meal that doesn't break the bank. And what a vibrant variety it is! Veggie items like collard greens and spicy tempeh are perfect for Blake to love. and seafood lovers can get down to fish curry, squid & tofu, and then some. while meat lovers will relish in lamb stew, goat curry, and then some. Its a meal that's perfect for takeout. But be sure to bask in its cool dining area and enjoy one of their hot drinks or non-alcoholic cocktails for an even cooler experience.

Went here today. While the staff was nice and accomodating. The prices were a joke. I could got to Badlands for a better 2-1. The one positive that I thought was great ( food) turned out to be a big disappointment. My friend ordered Nacho's. While tasty it was about 10 chips each covered with cheese and beans with Sour cream, guacamole and salsa in the middle of the place. Definately not worth the price. My friend got the steak, which amounted to about 1.25 per chip. Stay away from the food. This is a West Hollywood be seen type place. So if you like that feeling then go to LA, if you like being part of a diverse community maybe wait until the Cafe opens back up

I LOVE CIELO!!! I went here with a client after discussing at dinner our adoration for electronic sounds. We reminisced about the WMC and our fave DJs... Needless to say, I have a newfound respect for him! As we stood at the bar and ordered drinks, I met a cute girl, whom I can't recall her name, but if you ever read this, let's get in touch.. we shimmied (sp) our way to the ladies room hand in hand... love fun girls who aren't afraid to meet new people... although i only went to the bathroom with you once.. you're a-ok in my book. I came back and moved towards the dancefloor and as I took one step down, I realized that whoever hooked up the soundsystem at Cielo is a freaking genius! The sound was intensified dramatically once I was actually on the dance floor. And not to mention: Little Louis Vega....is AWESOME.... what I love about Cielo is the sound, the groove and the good time... I did see a couple sharks circling around... hmmm, NYC men can be so passe see ya on the dancefloor!
