by Thomas Torbit on So far I have seen 2 concerts here.... The Airborne Toxic Event in 2009 and Mark Ronson & The Business Intl. The location is great. It's near a lot of restos, bars and bodegas. It does get a bit crazy when there are a ton of people outside and bunch of taxis and cars out.`
by Javi V. on I don't know, I don't know. When I went a Wednesday, which is supposed to be the night to be there, the place was dead. Perhaps it was a slow day. The art that I saw that day was basically crap. Ok, I am not in the art scene, but definitely I can spot talent behind all blah,blah "I want to express the inner meaning of the world" and such, but hey, everybody has different tastes. There are positive things too: The bartenders, great. The dj's music, awesome. The bunch of curious types of people that you can see there, priceless. I'll give it another try, though.
by Lakiesha Picariello on Finals are over!!!! Imma back yo!!! Who missed me??? ;) I came here last nite for a friends Holiday Party and just to relax. I haven't really had a drink in over 2 months. Amazing rite?? I have felt that i love eating more than drinking. Gotta have a lil drink every once in a while tho. Marie, me and our buddy got into the area at around10 sumthing and we were circling like crazy to find a damn parking space. Eve is in a bad location because it is super close to Temple and a few other clubs. The bar area is enormous it takes up about half of this place. Then the rest of the place is filled with couches to lounge. With such a big bar my assumption was that they could make any drink i asked for. Big Mistake. No AMF, No Tokyo Tea, No Midori Sour!! SERIOUSLY????? u guys have all that bar space and shelves and shelves of alkie but there is no way u can make any of the drinks i actually wanted @#@%R)_#@. One thing that i thought was really cool was they had a projector screen up and they were playing clips of old movies and music videos from back in the day. Saw a pretty cool fight scene from an old martial arts movie. The drinks were expensive! I bought one round of drinks and ended up spending about 23 dollars! For a Margarita, a rum and coke and a dos equis beer! Marie and I also shared one of their specialty cocktails called Charlotte Web. I don't remember what type of alkie was in it but it tasted like yummy pineapple juice to me so i drank it pretty fast. :X All of their specialty cocktails were 10 bucks and each had many ingredients in it. This place was packed! We were sardines in a can, the only reason i had a good time was i was with my girl and we got to see alot of old faces. I don't think I would come back here again. I can only give this place 2.5 stars Ms. Janice C. came up with a better ending for this review: All i have to say to EVE is AMF....!!
