Love the owners.  Love Thursday night music.  Love the Wine Selection.  Love that weird appetizer that tastes like ravioli but looks like spinach dip. Love the art!

Playhouse Playhouse Playhouse.  I had heard that this club was a mixture of Miami, New York, Las Vegas, and LA all in one.  Since I've been to all 4 cities before, I was curious to see what this club would be like. My friends and I were at MyHouse when we got invited to Jordan Farmar's Birthday party at Playhouse.  Upon arrival, there was a crazy long line down the block.  The promoter we met at MyHouse pulled us out of line and we got in with no problem. Inside, it's actually not as dark as most clubs I've been in.  There's a large upstairs area filled with tons of tables for bottle reservation.  On the main floor, there are two large bars which are lined by more tables for bottle reservation along with a couple VIP areas.  There is also a sunken dance floor next to another bar. The music was great and had a great mixture of everything.  Drinks aren't too pricey and they use a really fun bill holder that lights up when you open it so you can actually see what you're paying for. Go go dancers came out dancing on 2 platforms high above the dance floor, and one mini stage above the bar in the middle of the main floor.  Most of the time, go go dancers aren't very attractive nor can they really dance.  However, at Playhouse, the dancers aren't bad looking and actually have some moves.

I don't like this place.  It's ultra crowded, drinks are expensive, and people smoke pot in the outside area.  It takes 30 minutes so you can pay $10 for a drink (which, to their credit, are actually pretty strong).  You also have to wait 30 minutes to visit their privileged upper deck. I guess this place is good for parties because it can accommodate a lot of people, but eh, I still don't like it that much.
