What a let down!!!! This was such a disappointment. In Atlanta for the first time & my friend, her brother, & I decided to give this Atlanta hot spot a shot. We all agree that we can't understand why this is an iconic staple that's been featured on food channels!!! The chili tasted like it was out of a can, the burgers were small & somewhat dry, & the fries weren't fresh. The only good thing was the onion rings (although they were slightly too greasy, but still good). In Miami, there's a Colombian restraunt called Los Perros (famous for hot dogs) that is out of this world. My friend thought it was funny that "Colombians can out do a traditional American hot dog!". If you're ever in Miami & want a real hot dog go there. As for The Varsity, if you're walking down the sidewalk, are hungry, & have $5 go ahead...its mediocre at best & cheap. Otherwise, its SO not worth going out of your way. Seriously overrated!! P.S. for all the people who say the 1 & 2 star reviewers are silly because the varsity is about history & not necessarily the food blah blah blah...just cause something has history it doesn't automatically make it great. Just because its cheap & next to a college campus & can thrive off that doesn't make it good. My first year of college I ate ramen noodles & those are crap. If people say its too greasy it doesn't mean they're not expecting grease from burgers, hot dogs, etc. It just means they would rather taste actual food & not the bottom of a deep fryer. When eating at a restraunt (even a fast food joint), I could care less if its been there a month or a hundred years, the food is what matters & this place is garbage!!!!

Rating based on high cost and low customer service. Bowling costs $13 per game plus $6 shoe rental. Used a LivingSocial deal voucher for 3 games plus one shoe rental for $20. Tried to use on last day before expiration and was told that there was a mistake and the vouchers I purchased expired the day before. Instead of honoring the date printed on my voucher, they offered to give me face value - one game and one shoe rental. Talk about bait and switch! The waitress did not come by until the last half of our third game and our lane broke down for 10 minutes without someone coming by. They did eventually let us play the other two games as we were getting ready to leave, but only, I suspect, when it became apparent that they weren't fully booked and it wouldn't cost them anything to let us stay. Frankly, when it comes to bowling, it doesn't need to be fancy. Give me a ball, some pins, and a nice lane and we're in business. Maybe nachos, pizza and french fries. At Bowlmor, you have cornflake encrusted fried grapes and tater tots with bacon ketchup.

the best place to drink and dance! what's good about underbar? good drink (especially, jagermeister with redbull) cool music beautiful dancers ( they dance on the stage all the time!!) although it is expensive to get in without any discount ($20), it is worth paying that much!
