I've been here one time since I've moved to Philly. It is a decent bar, with decent music, however, the bartenders aren't really 'in the know' when it comes to beverages. I requested a tom collins, and the bartender looked at me like I was at fault for saying something ridiculous. Not really interested in going back.

I really like bordello bar. I'd give it 5 stars if they didn't charge a cover ($10 my first visit, $5 this time around), but I don't really mind paying since they always have live acts inside. The first time I went they had this vaudeville show type thing with a full band and a woman wear fishnets and juggling bowling pins. cool!! this time it was a couple of indie bands i've never heard of, but they didn't suck. drinks are cheap (around $6 avg) and it was walking distance from e3rd steakhouse and prob other j-town bars and restaurants too. i love how the decor is all cavernous and red. some ppl said they felt like dracula lived there, but i found it rather posh in a non-superficial way. will definitely be back when i'm in the area!

Suede is one of my favorite places to party in SF. I've been to quite a few venues in the city and Suede is definitely one of my top 5. On nights when they have both the top and bottom floors open, the club offers both the crowded clubbing feel and the more relaxed bar scene feel. It's large enough to accomodate large groups and there are 4 bars to satisfy your drunken needs. **footnote: Although Suede is a great venue, it can either be a hit or miss depending on the crowd.
