by Shannon R. on I was here for a college event (Senior Week), which definitely colors my experience. Another coloring effect? Their strong/vicious/delicious Long Island Iced Teas. Hot damn, did I have fun. First of all, you're on a boat. AWESOME. Second, you're on a boat with good food. We had a dinner buffet, so I don't know how that compares to Moshulu's normal fare, but it was classy and delicious as far as we were concerned. Third, DANCE PARTY. Do they normally have a DJ? I don't know, but it was good times. If you're ever invited to an event on The Moshulu, GO. They do it right.
by Bradford Minehan on Citizens, I must tell you that I am up for a fun time all the time so it was with a bounce in my step that me and my friends left a mediocre night in The Highlands and made the pilgrimage to The Clermont Lounge. I recall that it was my idea to go, and I thought it was going to be funny, but it was just gross. The whole place skeeved me out, and I kept my hands in my pockets. I had to give this old lady a dollar so she'd STOP showing me her junk. I know that's how this place is supposed to be, but I was unprepared for just how bad it would get. I was prepared to chuckle, I nearly puked. Spare yourselves and just go to the world of Coke or the Varsity if you want to visit an Atlanta institution.
by Eric B. on Most of people's negative commentary here is true. Yes, dinner and drinks here are astronomical in price. Yes, the performance art here is both abstract and absurd. Yes, this place is definitely a scene for checking people out. Yes, the decor is over the top. These are the same reasons for which you should come to the Supperclub. Think of the Burning Man crowd with lots of unearned dotcom boom cash being spent frivolously and you'll have a pretty good mental picture of what to expect. I love this place, when I want to blow lots of cash being decadent it's exactly what I'm looking for.
