by Anisha H. on This restaurant reminded me of Buddhakan in Philly!!! The buddha definately is something to see, its create a great dinning experience! The dim sum was good, the sushi was good too!!! They bar area provided a good ambience to just hang out and a few drinks with friends. The downside of this place, it seems they cater to a younger crowd, might not want to take an older crowd, they might feel out of place! But definately a great date place! :)
by Khadijah Warm on Gotta love the one-liners in Atlanta...Grape, Twist, Shout, One., Two. (even though One and Two are abbreviations you get the point) and now Strip. I can not speak on the food at Strip because I have never eaten there. And thanks to you guys...probably never will! LOL...but really, I hear that the food is too expensive for the portions that you receive. Anyway, I went to Strip for a mixer one evening and I must agree that this place is architectually beautiful. I love how you can look over the balcony and get a view of parts of Atlantic Station and I love the furniture. It's a nice place to just chill, relax and unwind...but I guess not to eat :/ I recommend going for a mixer or networking event...you'll like it, I promise! **Update: 4/15/08** I have gone here twice since this review and have eaten both times. Somebody lied to me; the food is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The first time I ordered a baked potato and asparagus (I was going through some things :-( and they were light and flavorful. I also tried the creamy spinach (YUUUUM) and the spinach dip (Addictive). The second time (last night) I had the veggie burger and the loaded baked potato (feeling much better now!). The veggie burger was big and tasty! I forgot to add cheese but the burget itself was so good I really didn't miss the cheese. Some of the burger's ingredients include black beans, rice and chipotle flavor. It was great! The loaded baked potato was heavenly...honestly, if somebody gets a loaded baked potato wrong, their restaurant doesn't deserve to be in business. This one was excellent. I tried some of my friend's fried lobster and it was delectable. I got picked on by my friends because I got "all-american" food instead of steak or sushi, but I didn't care. It was too good! They said the B52 sushi was "crack" so I recommend that (not crack, the B52 :)
by John S. on It appears that most of the reviews of East Andrews are accurate. Unless you graduated from UGA with an accounting degree, drive a four-runner, starch creases into your khaki pants and tuck a polo shirt in, you need not attend this place full of generic people overpaying for their drinks. This is a great place to go if you like to assimilate in the most disgustingly harcore yuppie crowd in Atlanta, and a bunch of girls who live in Smyrna but say they live in Vinings.
