by Edison Quall on we had our holiday party here, wasn't too impressed. maybe it was a one-hit-wonder when it first opened. maybe its because i have outgrown clubs, maybe greenhouse just sucks. go to meatpacking, there are plenty others that aren't as eh.
by Michael Natalizio on I went with my friends on Halloween weekend (Saturday night). This line was very disorganized. It was just a huge mob of people. It wasn't even a line. We got there by 9pm and we didn't get in till about 11pm. The venue is nice. 3 or 4 levels, a bar in each level. The dance floor is really small and random tables everywhere. The bathrooms are really gross. There's a bathroom attendant, but they don't even do their jobs. They didn't refill the toilet paper, and they only give u 1 paper towel unless you tip. The stalls were really gross too. Was I in the guys' bathroom? All the drunk girls before me definitely missed the bowl. The floors were soaked. I don't know if it was just because it was Halloween or if this is the norm, but there were so many drunk/angry people getting tossed out. I've never seen so many police cars and ambulances outside.
by Colin C. on Ena is a firecracker. Great personality and always has some advice. As far as I can tell, it is the best Indo restaurant in the city, although who can really tell with random ones popping up for short periods. At least with Hardena Restaurant, you know that it will be there when you are really craving indonesian. Great bakwan jagung/sayur (corn or veg fritters) and tempeh goreng. I just wish they would have gudeg (a jackfruit stew) more often, and that my stomach wasn't quite as upset everytime i leave. Yet, even with the queasiness, i still go back, because it is the best. And it is probably just my vegetarian tummy reacting to the odd bit of shrimp paste.
