I finally went to check out the "fancy sports bar" today to see the Cowboys game with a friend and her boyfriend-we got there at 11 and the place filled up pretty quickly-I had the brunch enchiladas, which were really good-eggs served on top of chicken enchiladas, which as I read, sounds questionable, but again, it was tasty.Brunch menu items also come w/a complimentary "muffin top'. I chose the blueberry, which was REALLY good-served warm, aaahhh. We eventually moved from our corner table downstairs, to the upstairs "lounge area"-nice comfy leather chairs and sofas, felt like we were in a really nice living room/den at someone's house . My friends had beers, I tried both the Strawberry Basil Lemonade and the Cover 3 mojito-both drinks were also really good-the lemonade was not too sweet and the mojito was just right. The service was EXCELLENT. I appreciate the concept of this place, but I'd have to agree w/ a past reviewer about the vibe. I like lots of cheering, people in jerseys/team gear, hi fivin' perfect strangers, that kind of thing. Not too much of that here. I'm happy to have gone for the experience, but think I'll keep to the wing bars for game watching.

After being told that this place was poppin by one of my friends, I decided to check it out last Friday. We put our names on the guest list which stated it was free before 11 pm. Arrived at 10:45 pm, and the line for the guest list was hella long! There were 2 other lines, one for paying peeps and the other for bottle service. Me to door guy: so, whats that line over there? DG: Guest list line, free before 11 pm. Me: *looks at watch* - it's 10:50.. what are the chances? DG: *looks over at long ass line*- not that good Me: so basically, we're fucked if we go there DG: *laughs*, thats a good way to put it. Me: how much to get in DG: $20 Me: *what the fuckever* We get in and the place is close to empty. Gotta love these hip clubs! Anyways, this place was pretty huge. 3 different rooms, 2 of them house/trance and one small hip hop room which was the most packed. I spent most of my time there cuz my sis was drunk and only wanted to dance to hip hop. Since I'm older, I had to look out for her.. The drinks were strong here! I think I had 2 or 3 here (after 3 at the W) and I was pretty wasted. The crowd was young-ish, early 20s, lots of dudes. We left around 2 am and headed over to get food for my sick ass. *Read my Grubstake review for more details of this fun night*

This place is great. Big beers, low prices. Dive bar ambiance from neon beer signs with a very cheery bartender. I wish it were closer to my house because I would be there all the time. My only complaint is that smoking is allowed and my now delicate, former smoker lungs, can't handle it so well.
