Awesome place to have brunch! It's just in the middle of nowhere. I came here for the brunch buffet and then headed over to The Cloisters. The brunch buffet was pretty good. There was food that you'd expect: eggs, sausage, etc. There was also some delectable hispanic dishes: mashed yuca, beef stew, etc. The service was great! The waiters were attentive and very friendly. However, four words: Jack Daniel's Fruit Punch. Oh my god, I could live off of the stuff. And it comes unlimited with brunch. Let's jsut say I got my money's worth and then some. It's Jack Daniel's, Passionfruit punch, tropical fruit punch, and cranberry juice. So delicious! The Cloisters afterwards has never been more fun.

Saw Tim Hockenberry and Friends on Monday night - what a great way to reward yourself for making it back to work AND it will give you something to talk about to the boring types at the office for the next two days until the official start of the weekend (Thursday @5 o'clock). Very spontaneous show, almost like an impromptu jam session. Those with nostalgic parents and grandparents who like to torture small children through the guided listening of old pop songs will be familiar with "Walking the Dog" but not like this, it's pretty likely that the originators of the song would be pleasantly surprised with what these fellows have done. As Grandpop (God rest his soul) would say, imitating a Southern drawl, "Those white cats sure can play!" Although, unlike me there aren't too many folks under 35 (straight or otherwise) that truly miss the Plush Room, the RRAZZ Room has more offerings: in food, drink and performers and is a welcome addition to the dismal weeknight entertainment scene in SF.

I'm definitely not the world's best pool player or an aficionado, so I can't exactly judge their pool tables, sticks, or balls (hehe... she said "balls"). But I can say that the place is laid back and dark, the bartenders are all VERY nice, and their baked fries are out of this world. People tell me they like their jukebox.... but honestly, I've seen better. All in all, not much to say about it.
