by Gemma U. on The food was average. However, the prices were high for the portion sizes. Basically, this place is a nightclub that serves steak!! The service was good except for the waiter dropping an entire glass of champagne on a friend at the table and not offering anything to make up for it. The bouncer patrolling the host stand area (yes a steak house that has a bouncer?) was incredibly rude to most of our party. Understandably, he was trying to keep the walk way clear, however, groping, manhandling, and shoving is unacceptable in any setting. Especially, when you've just dined there. Incident: When I politely asked him to please stop shoving us he came within centimeters of my face and shouted MOVE. I said to him I don't appreciate being treated that way after having had dinner there and he said "lady other people come here and drop $8,000 dollars, I don't care about what you have to say." I immediately asked for the Manager who apologized but was dismissive. Needless to say my night was ruined and I will never be returning to this place. Customer service is definitely not important to management at this establishment. What a shame bringing a group of my friends there and spending $1,200 dollars on dinner and being treated like dirt afterwards.
by fernando v. on The DJ showered the dance floor with Top 40 hits all night long. What's the point? A 10-year-old, too, can press play on a MacBook. The interior looks and feels like the lobby from a W hotel. Too many tables. Drinks were weak. The doorman actually mustered the audacity to tell me I was "underdressed," although, upon entering the place, I saw dudes wearing everything from trucker caps to thermals that looked like a 2 for $10 deal at Old Navy. My underwear that night cost more than some of those whole outfits put together. Girls: Bring asshole repellent.
by Wilmer Bohl on This is one of the most aesthetically pleasing clubs I have been to. It looks like a scene straight out of Kill Bill. I love going here on thursday nights to attend the free Cheeky events. There is always an open bar and great drink specials. For those of you looking to party in style and save some money it's the place to be. . Great place to cut loose on the dance floor to great music. Going out in NYC does not have to be expensive especially when you know where to look
