by Terri B. on I went to Ella as part of a group, and had an okay experience. We arrived around midnight, and there was no line, so we got in promptly (girl to guy ratio of 3:1 likely helped). A few girls in my group knew someone having a party downstairs, and when we first walked into the room, I was excited: Bar? Check. DJ? Check. Space? Check. My boyfriend and I grabbed two Kettle and tonics (had I known about their cocktails, I certainly would've gone that route), and proceeded to chit chat, dance, and imbibe. My little danceland fantasy was killed within 30 minutes though, as the room got SUPER crowded and some serious d-bags nearly knocked me over in their rush to get in. With that cue, we stayed for about 20 more minutes, said our goodbyes, and went on our way. By the time we got outside, there was a line of 15-20 people. What's the lesson here, kids? If you want to enjoy Ella, you're probably better off arriving early and leaving by 1am.
by Rob L. on Ok had never been here or even heard of this place in the 3 years I've lived here, but we went Sun night over Labor Day Weekend and had a BLAST! TOTAL trash place put it's an awesome set-up! Love the outside area, the upstairs patio is cool, the lounge was chill! The DJ's that night may have been a bit off, but it was still fun and will definitely go again!!
by Lynelle Chupka on great for b-day parties or late night drinks w/ friends if you're asian...awesome music (hip hop/pop)...there is a VIP section that is pretty nice....great drinks.... I recently tried the pina colada and the apple martini here...they were sooo amazing b/c you can't taste the alcohol in the drink..which is how they're supposed to be made!!!
