since asian sensation night at le deux tried to charge us $20, we peaced out and went to h.wood instead. we got in for $10 which is cheap in hollywood if you're not on guestlist (we went spontaneously) the crowd there was fun and pretty dope. music was good - played a variety from hip hop, tech to miley cyrus/taylor swift haha altho they didn't play the requested britney spears :( i would say my first un-fail in hollywood, would def go back again.

My girl was in town from Vegas for the weekend and we wanted to lounge and dance a little. The "line" outside is one of those semicircles that let people in little by little and let VIP's in through the crowd. I know, suck their dicks and they'll put them back in a vessel. Well we waited like 15 min it went in. I love the free coatcheck even though I never used it. I like the decor, the drinks were standard club price - from the other reviews, seems I got hooks. Maybe its because I hoist myself onto my elbows to order a drink here bc the bar is high and the bartenders are cute and are awarding my athletic ability. The sound system is loud, but good. The DJ sucked - he was playing top 40 and hiphop. How dare you charge me a cover for crap mixing. Don't you freaking know that this is the bay area and we have internationally-famed DJs and turntable artists and you give me this? I don't want to cringe when I'm happy and drunk. The decor is nice but what the hell is with all these clubs and red? I mean red is my favortie color but similar red-sexy places old and new: Icon. The Cellar. Rouge.... etc. Maybe red hides the fact that the the ratio of guys to girls is ok but the ratio of hot girls to hot guys is femme heavy. Go on a weeknight, unless of course your out-of-town guest wants to see what the semi-circle fuss is about.
