One of the most intriguing and fantastic venues in SF. Art Gallery by day and club by night. Kinda been something I always wanted to have if the whole soc. degree does not work out. Anyways I was there for "SHINE" every 3rd Saturday and it was very nice. Great DJs spinning a mix of top 40, hip hop, old school and some MJ too. They had a pretty intense mosquito art exhibit hanging from the ceiling and idk if that is permanent but I loved it a lot. People were dancing all night. However my only gripe about this place is trying to get a drink during peak hours 12am-1am. It is a journey to make it to the main bar and then get your drink. Plus Newcastle cost me 6 bucks. However they do have $2 PBR even though they don't show the PBR on the exterior. Best deal here for drinking. I will definitely be coming back here for strut next month and maybe even some other events

Two words -- "STUFFED AVOCADO" well I will give you two more -- "MEXICAN MARTINI". Trudy's is typically a stable of any UT student's diet. The Stuffed Avocados are amazing and one of my favorite foods of all time. This completely makes up for the fact that my favorite food at Tex-Mex places is typically Enchiladas an I am not a fan of them at Trudy's. Also, the Mexican Martinis are awesome, but I probably wouldn't pay the extra for top shelf unless of course you are getting some premium Tequila as I am perfectly content with the house mexican martini. Also, $2.50 pints of Shiner no matter what time it is! The chips are extra thin and delicious and the salsa is fantastic. I try to make it to Trudy's every few weeks. If you can take the noise grab some of the seating downstairs or outside that is free for all, so grab a drink at the bar and watch closely for people to stand up, and you can usually have a table in about 5 to 10 minutes. Otherwise you might wait a while for seating upstairs. I will always make it back to Trudy's for a Stuffed Avocado and a Mexican Martini.
