PROCEED WITH CAUTION! I used to enjoy this place every once in a while. I brought my friend there who just moved to Atlanta because it is a tourist trap and all. All of the strippers were friendly and orderly, but the last one to go on with tattoo stars down her back. She came over to me and my friend who were just sitting there and starting making derogatory comments toward us because we did not tip her. I ran out of money as it was 3am. I said something back to her in defense and the next thing I know she hopped from the stage to the bar and bashed in my face with her high heel boots. With my face bleeding, the bouncers pulled her demonic fangs away from me. I called the police and they arrived to charge her with battery. The bartenders apologized but that does not fix the cuts on my face and chin. If you go here be very careful as the line between dangerous trash and friendly tourist is very thin.

NOTE: Review is about the dance club, not the food So, I took my boyfriend here for his birthday, since he loves to salsa. We went on a Friday night and got there at 9pm for salsa lessons (upstairs). The instructors that taught us were really wonderful. You definitely get your money's worth ($5) for an hour of lessons. By 10pm we headed downstairs to the club. Copa has amazing dancers. I think it's the best place in Austin to learn and dance the night away. Bring your dancing shoes and have fun! Remember: $5 cover before 10pm and $8 after

Would've been a five, but I found a questionable looking hair (short and curly) in my sandwich. Besides that, the space is cool and the the movie thing is great.
