by Alesia Russomanno on Came here for a catered company holiday party. I really liked that we had the bar space with the large TVs to ourselves. That was about all that I liked. Decent spread of Thanksgiving food in the buffet line-up -- turkey, stuffing, sweet and mashed potatoes, green beans, pasta, bread and desserts that consisted of a variety of cookies and brownies. I think I would've been more WOWed had I not just eaten the same thing 2 weeks before during the actual Thanksgiving holiday. Don't remember much from prior visits either. I've forgotten all about this place already. Meh.
by Tenesha Pulaski on My girlfriends and I decided that we would celebrate Halloween at Infusion Lounge, since we know one of the managers and would not have to wait in the horrendous 3 hour line and pay the $20+ cover to get in. We arrive at 11pm in front of the club, tried to get there at 10:30pm but parking was a huge issue. All the parking garages that were in proximity of Infusion Lounge were full so we had to park in a garage that was about 6 or 7 blocks away. We met our manager friend out front and he stamped our wrists, then slipped on our orange VIP wristbands and through the door we went, bypassing all the hope fulls that have been waiting in line for hours...I felt bad for them because the bouncers were saying that 1,000 people will NOT be getting in on this particular night because the club was almost at full capacity and the fire department is keeping tabs...so they are wasting their time. We walk down the poorly lit stairs where I accidentally bumped into a male worker who blended in perfectly to the background and please n ote: I was sober, so I can't imagine how many drunk people fall or bump into others going up and down the stairs. It really is an insurance liability and they should look into that. Anyway, we check in our coats and proceed to the bathrooms. I am not a fan of the coed bathroom scene, especially when it is not executed well. To my dismay, there was a large group of drunk girls in a huddle and a large group of guys, sloshing their drinks and dancing in the bathroom..."do I bother asking them where is the line?" They had one bathroom attendant working that night, so the bathrooms were disgusting. I was assigned to a stall where the attendant opened the door for me and sent me to the most horrifying stall imaginable. It reeked of vomit and there was actual vomit chunks on both sides of the toilet. "Really?" I had to use the restroom so bad I decided to hold my breath and pray for the best. When reaching for the toilet paper, I noticed a white powdery substance at the top of the toilet paper dispencer..."Could it be...could it be...yes, yes it is." Leaving the bathroom while trying to ignore drunk, coked out creepers trying to grab my arsss I walk over to the VIP section, which I don't know why they call it that because it is just an area where peeps have bottle service. The creme of la creme of D-bags hang out here. After trying to dance and have a good time we got exhausted trying to ward of spilled drinks and creepers. We called it a night at 1am and headed home. I don't think I will come back to Infusion Lounge even with a hook up.
