Awesome Aquarium! Lots of reviews here already have good information. I'll add things things I found most unique to the Georgia Aquarium that makes it arguably the best in America. And, it was definitely one of the most interactive I've been to. Don't Miss: - Touch pools. Many different touch pools for sting rays, bonnethead sharks, anemone, sea urchin, shrimp, starfish. Many more options than most aquariums have. - Penguin "crawl through tunnel". It brings you to a glass bubble INSIDE the penguin exhibit. This was my personal favorite part because it was just so unique. You stand up in the glass bubbles from the tunnel and your head pops out (think whack a mole and you're the mole) into the penguin exhibit and you are face to face with a penguin standing 6 inches from your head separated only by glass. It's so neat! - Whale Shark Feeding (not actually a shark, but the largest living fish species). The tank that the whale sharks are in is humongous; the website says it's the largest aquarium habitat in the world at 6.3 million gallons. There's a tunnel through around the middle point where you can see all the fish, the manta rays, sharks. Amazing.

Because I didn't have enough BBQ my whole weekend in TX, I opted for more at the airport... moreso because I have heard of this infamous Salt Licks BBQ which was supposed to be just as good if not better than Stubbs. All right, why not? How often am I here right? I went balls out and got the combo plate of smoked turkey (because I just loved the way TX flipped this bird) and brisket. They gave me a pretty good portion for $13ish. I also got soupy beans, a chunky bland potato salad, and an uneventful coleslaw with super thick cabbage cuts. The smoked turkey was decent but not as tender as Stubb's. The brisket was pretty dry and thick, which made it a little difficult to put down. The BBQ sauce was not as bold or as smoked as I would have liked it. It seemed to be made from some sort of fruit, mango-like base. I mean it wasn't god-awful but It was not what I wanted my last BBQ meal in TX to be... But then again, I had it at an airport. The real one in Driftwood could have been more awesome.
