by Rebecca A. on I love the drinks at Golden Temple! I especially love getting the scorpion bowls and the mai thai (the golden temple specialities) I love almost everything at this place. Yes it's expensive, but its better quality than pretty much anywhere else in Boston.
by Junaedy L. on When a friend of an acquaintance knew I was coming from LA, he recommended this place. He bragged that this place would be better than any club in LA. Wrong. The dance floor was gross, as broken pieces of glasses were littered everywhere. To get around the place you had to step on glass, so you better have some tough footwear or you'll end up with bloody feet. Imagine if you fell on the floor while dancing... yeah, it would not be a pretty sight. I have to say I liked the decor and how spacy the place is, but that's about it. The music was decent although way too loud. DJ was not bad actually...
by Chance Kaull on The vibe here cannot be beat. Swinging doors to the stairs up to a teeny tiny ladies lounge? Sweet! Du Nord rocks! for booking Under the Influence of Giants. Do it again please! (Then again, probably any band that has ever been a band has played here :P) What else can I say that hasn't already been said about this WICKED COOL spot with all the awesome history. Oh, I know: I ate here! (OK someone already mentioned they did too.) And the food and drinks were hella groovilicious. mmm... Cafe Du Nord burger, salad and martini. Come 4the music, stay 4the food. :D
