So before I begin I'd like to say that I'm reviewing the venue itself and NOT the event that I attended. Production value, DJs and event staffing changes with the event, so I don't think it's fair to judge Eden based on those aspects. ----- The decor of Eden is pretty unique for a lounge/club. Wood/nature theme features some pretty fantastic honeycomb ceiling fixtures. The covered area blends seamlessly with the outdoor patio that features two branching trees and a bar with a large wood sculpture. The space isn't very large, but it is definitely adequate. Dancing, however, can get a bit tricky as there isn't a specified dance floor. It gets a bit annoying when you're trying to get your groove on and there's a continuous flow of people pushing and shoving trying to get through and around the club. On the bright side, the venue isn't as dark as most Hollywood clubs -- a definite plus when you're already having to squint to see clearly and you want to check out the person who you're dancing with =P The drinks are pretty average. Not particularly strong or cheap...but they're not weak or expensive either. Pretty run of the mill. As far as I know there's no minimum credit card limit (all our bills were at least $30). DEFINITE improvement from the previous Opera/Crimson space. I'm a fan, but I think I'd enjoy it more if I were to come to lounge rather than to club/dance.

Your normal dive bar....Cheap drinks and lots of fun. In the back of the bar there is a Library in case all you students out there want to read a book while you get drunk! ~Beer pong ALWAYS ($10-$20 pitchers) ~Monday is happy hour, which means 1 dollar beers!

What a lovely little destination on the far west side of Spring Street. Stepping into Ear Inn is like stepping back in time. The place is full of eye candy with its cool signs, charming antique bottle, and historical mementos. Caught a Saturday afternoon poetry series, which added to the ambiance of this old space. A hidden gem in NYC, and what a gem it is!
