This is a review for (weekend) brunch. Umm it's not traditional brunch, but it's the best brunch I've been to. Ever. We came knowing it was suppose to be a great time, but within 20 minutes of being there we were dancing on chairs/tables, anything but the ground...it turned into a full out late night club by 3:30 in the afternoon. As for the food, I'm not sure, I'm sure it was great, I didn't have any. If you come to brunch here you should know in advance that your meal will most likely consist of only champagne and wine served from Vegas-worthy sized bottles, served by an army of servers with sparklers, sooo not an ordinary Saturday afternoon here. My only complaint is that when I was there a host politely asked if I could move down one seat at our long table, which I was offended that I was being asked to move...until he told me that he needed to make room for Gerard Butler...hmm ok fine I'll move ;-)

went here on saturday night for a friends birthday. very fun dive bar. they have a very nice looking outside area that we could not fully enjoy because it was raining. we did, however, stand under the awning and it was great to have the option to be outside or inside. you can also smoke out back (if you're into that). the live karaoke band was playing and started off covering a bunch of led zeppelin songs complete with wigs and stuffed pants. it was pretty awesome and they sounded pretty good. the crowd was very eclectic, like the place itself. i'll be back. it was too excellently cheesy not to be explored more.

I must give props to Element for devoting their Saturday night to the gays, and I am more than thrilled that there's now a fun place to dance on Saturday nights besides the Roxy ( http://www.rateclubs.com/bi...). The party's called Bank, and it's a quality investment (hehe). The space itself is beautiful, and DJ Larry Tee keeps the party going all night long. Also be sure to check out "The Vault" in the basement a whole other dance floor, bar, and a much more relaxed, loungey feel. This is where the boys in the know are on Saturdays.
