this one is going to be interesting... where do i start.... 2 girls including myself and my 3 guy friends came to the front and i wanted to buy a bottle for us this past saturday night. easily we found who i should speak to about prices and arrangements. 400 for a bottle of goose -- deal. the hostess in the front lead my group to our table which was being taken over my the table next to us. at first the security guard standing behind us on a platform asked a couple of the meat-heads and their also trashed confidantes to move aside. that didn't work so my friend asked our hostess to ask the meat-heads again. and her reply as she exited was "take a double shot and you'll be fine". SURE! thanks for nothing. our bottle came and space was not readily available so i had to take it into my own hands of weaving through the crowd and finding a security guard. i had asked him if he could do me a favor and ask the table next to us just to move a little bit so one of my friends could sit at the table i bought. now as if the hostess didn't blow me away in disbelief, the bouncer replies to my request with, "theyre taking care of me so are you going to take care of me if i were to do that for you?" hmmm... does do your job sound like a better idea? i was already annoyed so i walked away and he comes behind me and taps me by saying "dont worry i'll take care of you". as if he's doing me a favor! hold your horses because the night only gets worse from here folks. our waitess JENNA, wow. i should have caught on to those droopy eyes heavily closing from being so damn drunk on the job. we had asked her to ask the people next to us to move too and she scoffed as she said they bought two bottles so they could do whatever they wanted. is that so? well once the night ended, it was time for me to close out the bill. from what my initial agreement of 450, went up to 600. strange but Jenna made some sort of excuse that was ongoing. I needed my friend to split the bill with me so as I was bringing her up to the register, Jenna puts her hands in our faces as she surprisingly and angrily yells "WHOA WHOA YOU CANT BE HERE". if she werent drunk she could have remembered that less than a minute ago, i told her i was bringing my friend up to pay the bill with me. as this difficult conversation continued a little outside of the register area, my other friend comes in confusion as to how our bill had gone up so much so he asked for an itemized receipt. Jenna's drunk ass yet again puts her hand up, and yet again yells "YOU NEED TO BACK OFF! BACK OFF! BACK OFF!" (repeatedly) My friend was in an area that was open to the public and where many other people who werent employees were standing as well. After that scene, my friend and I who were trying to pay went up to the register asking for my friends receipt. Jenna pulls another crazy antic by saying I had signed my friends card which is something I would never do. As we grew tired and began to become stern with our voice, she signaled a bouncer to call for security. Shocking isnt it? well rather than security, Will the manager came to the rescue. I was disappointed as to how rather than initially trying to handle the ordeal with us directly, he offers to buy us shots as he spoke with Jenna. we denied the shots and continued to discuss the situation and how horrible and RUDE of a waitress Jenna was being. We had our bottle comped even after insisting that we pay for it because we would rather have the night we planned out for ourselves. But he insisted kindly and that was much appreciated. I understand that managers protect their employees from time to time according to the situation but I really hope Jenna gets trained again in hospitality; truthfully I hope she gets fired for being so trashed and rude to customers. actually, rather than singling her out, I think a large portion of the staff needs to be trained in hospitality.

Oy, such a scene! Dinner on Saturday is B&T hardcore. Shame, it's a spacious, beautifully decorated series of open spaces and cozy corners -- skylights, staircases, fireplaces, chandeliers -- never boring. Food was delish, but the service varied from indifferent to snobby. I don't like a matre d' who looks sideways at my shoes (of course, my kicks passed the test, but still!). Perhaps better suited to Tuesdays or lunches.
