I ordered the Napa Valley Burger and against my better judgment got it "crunchified" - and loved it! The burger was delicious, the chips added just a little crispyness, and the goat cheese was heavenly. The only downside was after I had wolfed down my burger, I wasn't full...so we decided to order a couple of sides. The Onion Rings were light and flaky and gave me the chance to sample the wide variety of ketchup options; the Sweet Potato Fries were also pretty good. All in all, very good but over-salted. Don't come here if you have high blood pressure, but otherwise, definitely visit BBP.

I really miss the Star Bar and its photo booth. I saw many, many shows here during my Atlanta days. Hands down best Star Bar moment ever - Neko Case lifting up her shirt on stage because she had "just seen a cop walk by the front door." Love it.

Is it wrong to love a place that has its own photo booth for all to enjoy? I dig it! A large group of us headed to Shine for the monthly SF Clubguide party - this months theme: Galactic Barbarella - sadly we didn't dress for the theme, but boy did we enjoy watching those who did! The bar is your typical Mission fare: a little rough around the edges, but the quality is top-notch. There was plenty of booths to chill in (without required table service, Amen) and even more room to move and shake your thang if the mood strikes! My buddy knows how to throw a party - great host, fun bar, groovin' tunes blasting from the DJ booth... All that makes for a great night. Well, all until my girlfriend started cheering "shots shots shots" while bouncing way too energetically - oh dear, here we go...
