Trigger is fun fun fun! I've been here a few times to see DJ Astro -- who is AMAZING!!  Lots of old school hip hop mixed with a little dance/techno and top 40.  DJ Astro made this place go crazy! The drinks were verrry reasonably priced and well made.  Gogo dancers all around and a fun place upstairs for VIP parties.  The bathroom attendant is super cute and makes the long bathroom lines worth the wait.

Beautiful Space. Drinks are ok. Prices are club prices. Pretty good music. REALLY nice space. Best if you have someone in the know for less hassle entry. Money speaks here.

Kind of an Asian fusion (Chinese/Japanese) decor, with the main floor and stairs off to one side, a sort of stage to the right, the main bar in the back, elevated tables when you walk in that I'm sure are great to grab and you can see the entire place. The secondary bar is useless, its really just there to be close to the tables so the waitress doesn't have to meander from one end of the place to the other. That's the biggest problem with the place, was the layout wasn't very condusive to those who needed to get from one end to the other. I know most clubs have that problem of overcrowding, but Hiro was actually smaller than I thought it was going to be and I had a tough time getting from A to B. 7 dollar beers, 10 dollar mixed drinks, no money left, and a HUGE disco ball above the dance floor. HUGE. It was actually off putting and kind of trippy, the lights made it seem like everyone was moving, or just maybe a high school prom. Went here to see Albert Hammond Jr, but in between the DJs were really pretty great, left some songs along, but did some good mash ups and the beats were sharp and clear. The first band though, you rarely see the crowd boo after one song. These guys just were too much; its one thing that's great if they don't give a shit and play their balls off, its another thing when they do it in the service of rockstar posing, egotistical statements, and just plain bad music. The backup singers were pretty but they should have been singing lead cuz this guy couldn't keep his shirt off before 2 songs were done. I would have liked to stay later, but my friend wasn't into the dance vibe. Wouldn't mind swinging by again on another night.
