What can I say that hasn't already been said? This is the worst mall I think I've been to. No good stores really (I mean...one of their big anchor stores is K-Mart. Seriously?), too many annoying kids/creepers, and most of it is vacant anyway. In summation: big waste of space. The ONLY reason I'd ever go to the Gallery is for Charley's Grilled Subs in the food court. That's it.

A great example of what a little revitalization and community investment can do to a formerly run-down shopping center. A few years ago there were a ton of vacancies in here and it felt both desperate and sad. Thanks to the renovated movie theater/nightclub as an anchor, the mall has experienced a revival with almost complete occupancy and plenty of foot traffic. Why the three stars if it's so positive? Well, most of the stores are selling variations of the same things. If you're looking for athletic shoes and jerseys...well, you'd be in the right place. Much more than that, and you'll still be looking.

Visit: 3/12/2006 Pretty amazing. Lots of good exhibits with sea mammals like otters, belugas, etc. Some neat design outside the water especially around in the Georgia section. The layout is confusing, thank you Mr. Architect. Flow is not something they did well with, though obviously the large crowds push it to the limits. Online reservations sold out quicker than in person showing that they are not directly linked and that just a certain amount are set aside for online purchases. Either a lame computer system that they skimped on or a stupid move, or both. It constantly reiterates that its the largest aquarium in the world. It may well be by gallon size but the windows in to the tank only show a portion so it's hard to gauge this. Personally I don't think it holds a candle to the Monterey Bay Aquarium in California.
