OK let me start by saying that I have been going to ONE since it first opened, and have found it to be a consistant winner. It has outlasted Richard Blaze and his wierd foam things and other BUT WHAT HAS HAPPENED. Missing IN ACTION: the goat cheese toast app.. MAYBE THE SINGLE BEST STARTER in history. GONE, The lamb ribs, GONE TOO. Oh I get that you need to keep current and that change is good, but dont deep six your signatures.. So Dad and I figured we would go WHOLE HOG and do the Yorkshire PIG. Wow what a mistep. His was dry and mine was smothered in so much Garlic and Fennel ( maybe) and the crackling was like rubber. Dad said. "sure hope the second taste is better than the first" and I was thinking. What have they done to ONE. Well it wasnt, so back they went with out question (still great customer service) and we got hanger steaks and fries . Yes the fries are over salted and the super meaty taste of the steak obscured by the heavy char and smoke from the grill.. I was not happy. Guess we will have to let ONE rest for awhile until Bob and company bring back the food that made it what it was, and a new chef rolls into town.

This is one sexy looking place. French decor with an amazing chandelier and very dim lighting. They also don't offer traditional seating. Everyone gets an intimate setting with a small comfy sofa chair to sit on. The truffle oil mac n cheese and Chicken entree where very good. The restaurant is right next to the Cabana club so you can walk right over after dinner. Two Thumbs Up!

Cielo is all about the music - house music. DO go here if you love house music, dancing, and being around other like minded party people who appreciate quality over quantity. DO NOT go here if you want to hear the latest pop club hits, bump and grind, or try to get a photo of you and your friends on Velvet List. The owner is a DJ which explains the quality of the sound system (one of the best in the city) and the quality of DJs that come to play. Don't look for big brand name DJs or laptop DJs here. Go to Pacha or PM for that. Cielo books DJs that other DJs come to hear. The dance floor is small but it's a real dance floor with a massive disco ball. You don't have to worry about a bunch of people trying to dance around tables and sofas. People get their groove on just fine. Just mind your elbows when the music gets pumping. There are a few token tables on the side available for reservation but they are quickly consumed by the dance floor as the music gets louder and the night later. How is the crowd? Well, that's up to the men and women holding clipboards standing behind a velvet rope. They make sure the club is filled with people who fit the Cielo vibe - party people who care as much about the music as the name on their jeans. There's also a large outdoor space where you can cool off and have a smoke. TIP If this sounds like the place for you but you can't deal with a line - like most clubs you need to go early. If you arrive around 11pm and and only come with a few friends, you'll most likely get in without a problem. The club will be relatively empty so get a drink and watch the club fill up over the next hour. You'll be dancing soon.
