by Antone H. on Wow they make a pretty good burger, with a pretty good size patty. On my first visit I got some BBQ burger and I have to say, it was the business. I also got fries for my side which were ok nothing really to complain about. But the burger alone made my decision on if I was going to return to this place and I think I will very soon.
by Angela C. on Bimbo's 365 is my new favorite concert spot. My boyfriend and I saw Jamie Lidell here last night, and what a phenomenal show! Jamie is an awesome performer, but Bimbo's makes the experience even better. The acoustics were extraordinarily crisp, and the close ups of Jamie on the flat screen were awesome, both of which aren't common for a smaller venue like Bimbo's. The little disco ball hanging over the dance floor completes my five - I felt like I was back at a high school prom that was actually FUN! I love the atmosphere at Bimbo's altogether - perhaps what makes it a cool experience is the fact that it's been open since the '30s, and I feel like a lot of it has remained the same. The only complaint that I had was that some of the drinks were TINY - my boyfriend's drink was literally in a shooter glass filled with ice! I ordered champagne, which in terms of quantity was a much better deal than any other sort of mixed drink. The drinks are a minor detail though, and they do know how to serve up an awesome batch of french fries! I will definitely be looking for the next chance to make a trip back to Bimbo's.
by Thalia Lantey on This place is HUGE ----- but no matter how big it is, it is still insanely packed with people. I came here a couple of times for people's birthday or to meet up with friends. I must say, if you're a guy and you're trying to get in with your other GUY friends ----- I don't see that happening! YOU MUST HAVE A EVEN RATIO OF GUYS AND GALS ---- PREFERABLY HIGHER RATIO OF GIRLS! I had to come here many times just to help my guy friends out on getting in. There are a lot of guys swarming outside begging girls to help them get them inside. It's a nice place and the crowd is ok but I prefer venues that are more chill!
