This is my first time at a piano bar. I wish the place was a lot bigger, but other than that, this place is great. The bartenders were all really friendly, and so was the crowd. I heavily enjoyed myself in a nice classy setting. You must hang out in the back room, where the pianist is. I don't remember the man's name, but he had a lovely voice. Just like Frank Sinatra. And it was great how random folks out of the crowd got to sing, and they all happened to be great singers as well. I'm not much of a martini person, so I didn't know what to order. However I will advise you to not order a sour apple vodka martini, unless you like the taste of straight vodka. Luckily I came with a few friends, and was able to try a Cherry Blossom martini and also a Sidecar Martini. Now those two were yummy.

My sister invited my partner and I out to have drinks here last week... I was pretty disappointed with the whole thing. Maybe cuz it was a Thursday night. Maybe cuz both me and my partner have shaved heads (a friend has breast cancer people!) and the waitresses kept staring. Maybe cuz it just sucked. Not many tvs, and definitely what was on the tvs wasn't interesting. The waitress clearly wasn't interested in serving us, but finally eventually asked what we wanted. The woman looked like she was drunk herself. Or needed a line. Maybe it was a bad day for her. So I order my black and blue, my sister orders her Blue Moon with a shot of OJ in it, and my partner orders her black tire. (Guiness and Fat Tire) Drinks show up fairly quickly, and then it seems the waitress never comes back. Finally we order our food. I order the fish and chips... which was subsequently disappointed in. Too greasy... nasty. Fries were ok dipped in ranch, but how do you mess up fries when they are cooked all the way thru? Wings were ok... nothing to scream about. There is a huge dance floor in there and my sister says they have dancing on friday and saturday nights... I think I need to come back and try this place one of those nights to make a final decision on this place. For now... no way.

The flavored mojitos are yummy but pricey and not very strong. They do earn extra points for the sugar  cane swizzle stick. The crab and avocado salad appetizer is really tasty, but the standard Mexican fare on the menu is fair at best and definitely overpriced. The decor is fun--my boss is obsessed with the fountain wall, but it's very noisy in here even though the cavernous space isn't ever that crowded. There's dancing downstairs, but the one time I ventured down there, enticed by the great music, I was majorly sketched out--it's waaaay more of a meat market atmosphere than my party of single girls had anticipated. I don't plan on returning unless it's just for some more cocktails on the company dime ;-)
