This is around the corner from my house, so I end up here a lot. Unfortunately, I can't provide much in the way of a food review because I get the same thing almost every time, haha. I will say, without hesitation, that the duck-and-bacon pizza with pesto is the bomb. Repeat, the bomb. I have also tried the macaroni and cheese, which is excellent as well. I've tried other things, but I don't think they're on the menu anymore. As for the restaurant itself, the upstairs dining room is pretty straightforward. I don't go up there much. I usually sit in one of the downstairs areas. One is just a bar, and the other is a bar with a few tables. Sometimes there is a DJ in the latter room. The vibe is always chill here (though it can get loud at times), and the selection of beers and liquors involve only a few usual suspects. The house cocktails are creative. You'll see rare gins and whiskeys here, and the beer list includes some rarities as well (I love the deal on Sessions, which is delicious and kind of hard to find). Parking is easy and ample, the prices are fair, the service isn't bad and it's good for either dinner or a few drinks, depending on what you're looking for.

Am I the only person who thinks that the white alligator was probably wondering why the sounds of deadmau5 was vibrating his swamp last night? * like some have mentioned...* - bar is cash only - get there by 5:15-5:30 to find free street parking and get a good spot in line! its worth it - go immediately to the planetarium ticket line (different from the line forming to go into the planetarium) so that you can get a ticket (it's free) before they run out, sometimes even by 6pm - see the planetarium show-- A MUST! (30 min long). try to sit in the middle and/or back! - if you don't do that, then go to the rainforest dome first since a line forms and they close the line by 7:30 for the rest of the night..... - most areas don't allow food/drink inside~i.e. planetarium, rain forest? overheard someone say "so we're just hangin out at this exhibit cause we can drink here, right?" $10 nighttime fee vs daytime full admission price is awesome....

The best Karaoke whore house I've ever been to. I've stumbled into this place a few times with big groups and I think they hate us. They tried to charage a friend $25 for a beer and there are girls that work there that will sit with you while you sing. Never really figured this place out but definately 2 stars for the best reverb in the city.
