by Rick V. on Food is very good. The meatball appetizer is amazing and a meal itself. The drinks are strong and the staff friendly. We went downstairs to the club and was pretty nice. Very good DJ and beautiful space. If you can get in I highly recommend Lavo the restaurant and club.Hottest spot in the City for a reason.
by Syonora A. on PRIVATE EVENT COMMENT: This place is sweet for a private event. Very intimate setting and it was a refreshing change from the chic-y places as its more poshy. Certainly not the type of place to strike up the dance floor or check out the crowd, however if you're on a date, I'd totally recommend it!

Popscene is fun-filled with lots of indie/80s-pop lovers, funky-cool retro videos playin on two big projector screens. At one point a Latoya Jackson aerobics vid was on and a bunch of us started rockin her routine. Bar is aiight, bouncers are great--let a bunch of friends in with their Japanese passports =) Yeah- cool live shows with mix of local and big-time bands- killers, muse...
