As every woman knows (or should know), gay clubs are the best places to go dancing. And Micky's is especially bomb: good dance floor, tons of jams and some sectsy go-go boys. And the best part of all, as with any gay club, you can dance the night away in peace; no creepers trying to hump you. Bliss.

Horrible. I can't think of a worse club I have ever been to. We went last night to what was billed as a "Sex and the City" release party. There were 9 of us. Three of the party were sports figures in the boxing and basketball world. From the time we got to the RUDE door guy I was in high hopes he was the only one like that. It amazed me that people that work in a public place would have such major attitudes. Get over it people, its just a club. Its not the White House. Also on my evite it clearly states before 10:30 PM guys pay 10.00. After we walked past the rude door guy who is a Johnny Depp wannabe, the woman states it is 20.00 for guys. When I tried to explain to her what the email said she would not even listen and was rude. I just double checked it this morning to make sure I didnt misread something and it clearly states 10.00. Not to mention it was billed as a "Sex and the City" release party and Sex and the City was never mentioned one time there. The supposed "fashion show" was as lame as it gets. No mention of the designers either. Let alone the fact two of the "models" tripped and fell down. It's small, cramped and a lot of not very pretty people. I wouldn't go back if I was paid. There are a lot better clubs where the staff doesn't act like they are doing you some huge favor to let you in their dump.

All I can say is they made us wait for over an hour for our reservation, if we weren't with friends who were dying to go- we definitely would have walked out. Wasn't that impressed witht the food- but by the time they sat us- they were rushing us. It was awful. Food was soso. It was opening week, with that in mind I would always give a place a second chance, but it seems like STK will survive on the scene more than anything else, the food seemed secondary, and the way we were treated was pretty lousy. Too many other great places.
