My House is so incredibly... ...Not worth it. The promoters strut around with sticks up their asses, smiling and handing out tickets only to their friends and offering horrible customer service to everyone else. They stood unsmiling and with their backs to the line, holding it for so damn long while letting only their friends in.  I get it, it's a Saturday night and you don't want to be working, but HEY, we're not feelin' you either.  Many pissed off girls had to pay.  My friend had a bill in her hand and, as she neared the entrance, one promoter eyed the $100 eagerly and said "Money, money, I want money, gimme gimme money."  How freakin' rude is that?  A part of me wanted to slap the greedy bastard, but I also wanted to get my dance on with my girls...so I stayed civil. The place was suspiciously empty when we finally got in (on retrospect, no surprise there). The music was outdated and whack, with strange transitions.  They played Bruno Mars' "Just the Way you Are" at 11:00 PM.  I wouldn't have minded if they had ended the night with the song, but not when I'm just starting to get my groove on. What a buzz kill (like everything else about this place). 1 star for the stiff drinks that helped my friends and me have some sort of fun in an otherwise sad, wtf-was-I-thinking-I'm-never-going-back kinda place.

I haven't been back since the renovation, but before then it was pretty tight. It was always packed. I will definitely check this club out since the renovation is over.

Hmm. I am not even sure what to say about Top Flr. I think I liked it but I didn't have a memorable experience. We sat downstairs and the place was pretty packed and loud as well. Also, the tables were close together which for me isn't so good, because my conversations are not always appropriate for everyones ears. That being said, I had to behave myself. My date is a rather picky eater so for an appetizer we settled on some crepe stuffed with spinach, mushrooms and cheese. I use the term stuffed very loosely. Let's go with "blotted" with filling. The crepe itself was not tasty one bit. I do feel like the other apps would have been better. For our entrees, they messed up our order so we got three for the price of two. We had the pan fried chicken, the duck pasta and hanger steak. All entrees were tasty but again not memorable. For a side, we had the mac and cheese...notice the theme..."not memorable" . I'll give props to the scene and the bar and I hear the upstairs is neat but the food was just decent. I am starting to rate these types of restaurants on a chain scale....and to be honest, I would probably got with a chain...you'll be just as happy..
