by Z R. on Last weekend was my 2nd visit to Cuba Libre and I'm starting to think they should just be a bar that serves food. The restauraunt was about 3/4 full but after being seated it took our server almost 10 minutes to approach our table for our drink order. The drinks were good but at $7 for a small mojito we could only afford one each. Our waitress didn't get much better but the guy who brought us our food was really nice. Overall the pork empanadas were dry, the crabcakes were tasty but small, and the coconut shrimp were good but should have more shrimp on the plate for the price.
by Celia S. on I love Buddha Bar, it's a great place for dinner and drinks with a good group of friends! The ambiance alone would keep me coming back, its pretty dimly lit with candles at the table, the music is relaxing but still upbeat. They have a large, visually pleasing, Buddha in the middle of the dinning room! I ordered the Sea Bass while my friend ordered the duck both were delicious BUT over salted--My absolutely favorite thing here has to be their eggplant! They have a pretty good variety of wines--most on the higher end so be ready to shell out the extra cash if your in the mood for vino! It's a place to go to if you want to chill out with some good drinks or a great place to bring out of town friends!
