Love, love, love this bar/lounge! Have been here quite a few times and have loved my experience every time. The ambiance of The Edison is awesome, definitely old-school glam in the heart of LA. The crowd is usually pretty good too and never too crowded. It's a chill setting -- have never felt like I was surrounded by a bunch super wasted people. The drinks are reasonably priced, not cheap, but not over priced. I have never had a problem with service with the bartenders, but a few of my male friends probably wouldn't agree. I usually have the bartenders recommend something for me and am usually happy with the drink. Favorite shooter here is a "East Side Shot". Plus, no cover -- awesome! Cons: -Line. Like I said this place is never too crowded and there's no cover. With that, be prepared to show up before 9p if you don't want to wait in line for too long. -Dress code. They're pretty strict with dress code for males. Wear dress shoes! I've had friends get in with tennis shoes, but wear the dress shoes to be on the safe side.

Didn't know I had to get tix for the exhibit early. Didn't know I had to get in line early for planetarium tickets. They need to advertise better. $8-10 bucks for a cocktail in a small plastic cup? What? Didn't know I was at a nightclub! Sucks that it ends at 10pm. If it stayed open until midnight, they'd make soooo much more money! Nevertheless, it was tons of fun browsing all the different rooms and exhibits with a beer in hand and no kids running around!

I'm only judging this review on the one concert I've been to there. I was told how horrible the sound is, etc etc. I decided to go because it was a band I haven't seen in 3 years (Glassjaw) and I HAD to go, no matter what NYC venue it was at. Webster Hall was just amazing. The size, the sound was totally on point. The layout of the place is just a bit weird for me, going up and down stairs like crazy. The decoration is very nice, the size of the place reminds me of Irving Plaza + Roseland + Bowery Ballroom. I believe it'll be Bowery's answer to Irving Plaza based on location. Webster seems to get really good shows too. Based on this 1 concert I've been to, Webster Hall was just a surprise for one of the best concerts I went to in 2006. I hope to be there again. PS: In the guys bathroom, the urinals have ICE! That's awesome!
