1.) First off, the one and only time I went here was as part of a birthday party. We were told that EVERYONE, guys included, would have free cover if we got there before 10pm. We got there at about 9:50, so the door guy kept everyone in line for 15 minutes, then charged all the guys $20. 2.) Next, a friend of mine and I ordered some Scotch and were charged $25 a drink for a mid-level Scotch, certainly not worth the $25 charge. We questioned the bartender on this and the guy said, "don't worry, I'll take care of you guys for tonight." Not only did this dick not serve us for the remainder of the night, but he turned into a bar-back! 3.) The final insult was an added 20% gratuity charge put on our bar tab for 2 ppl. Never coming back to this place.

I have worked and stayed at several boutique and high end hotels. This one, although deep in Hillywoods starlet history, didn't cut it the whole stay. The staff on Friday night at our check in was very accomodating. The valet was perfection as well as the front desk for granting us early check in. The housekeeping was promp on our request for additional towels and bath products. The room was okay. There wasn't a vanity nor the room to improvise for one. The bathroom had wax splattered on the wall, kinda gross. But that was nothing compared to Saturday's check out. The valet could not get anything together to get the keys in my hand and the bags in the car. It took 15 minutes for the valet to bring the car to the front. It sat for another 5 minutes while I awaited someone to approach me to load my bags. Nothing. Eventually I got the attention of someone and explained I had been waiting a while to no avail and he just shrugged it off. For the $$$ spent, I expected at least the final recognition of the lack of direction with the valet.

Had a good time here the other night. Lots of goths and scenesters but theyre pretty chill. The music was sick and I was completely blacked during the whole experience. Get wasted beforehand.
