OK - So I was in Philly on a short vacation and decided to go here for a good steak. BOY, Was I happy with that decision. I am a lover off all things beef - especially prime rib. So I decided that I had to order a prime rib, afterall, that is the restaurants namesake. The steak was HUUUUUUUUGE. Biggest prime rib I have ever encountered. Now, I know what your thinking.... "Sure, it was big, but was it cooked right and did it taste good?" YES. I resounding - YES. The food was 100% excellent - worth every penny. Don't tell management but I would have paid more! CONS: Only 1 - decor. This place looked like it was right out of The Godfather. It was all decked out in black with gold highlights and mirrors. Was kind of funny actually. PROs: Everything else. Seriously, if you want a great steak and are in or are anywhere near Philly - go here. Don't waste your time with anywhere else. I am seriously considering driving down (2.5 hours) just for dinner again.

My first visit to Little Temple was to see Cava, which was a great energy-filled show! It was great to see Wil Dog from Ozomatli there too. DJ Sloe Poke is awesome! He was spinning some awesome jams!! My next visit was on a Thurs. night w/ a couple friends from NYC. So I was hoping it'd be a fun night b/c NYC nightlife is kinda tough to beat. Well, we had a phenomenal time! With old school hip hop and other poppin' music, it was a lot of fun.

I love martinis. I'm not using the word "love" lightly here, either. If possible, I'd live on martinis and bagel bites. Unfortunately, though, apparently it's "unprofessional" and "borderline alcoholic" to start the day off with a martini. So, eagerly anticipating a nicely chilled libation, I walked in here with the parents and the boyfriend. The martinis didn't disappoint. In fact, my mom liked mine so much that she kept surreptiously pouring it into her glass. Yeah, my smooth moves are inherited. The crowd was relatively mellow on a Saturday night, and we found a table in the swanky back room easily. We missed out on the 'tuni part, so I can't in good conscience award five stars. Also, my stepdad mistook the service door for the bathroom. Is that Martuni's fault? Probably not, but I was amused anyway.
