Lame crowd - sorry folks, venue might be sweet but it was empty upstairs and obnoxious downstairs. 2. Overpriced - when I pay $20 cover and expensive drinks at other clubs, sometimes I feel like I'm getting my money's worth. Not even close here. $40 rounds for *Jack Daniels* and credit card minimum of $20 (and would not let me buy 2 drinks @ $9 plus tip, unreal). 3. AND THIS ONE IS IMPORTANT FOLKS, SO LISTEN UP - I got punched in the @#$%ing ear! A hot head started up with my friend, I stepped in to mediate, got jacked in the side of the head/ear. After a mess that resulted in him getting thrown out I was told by the guards as I was being checked out by the EMT's....****AND I QUOTE****..."At least it wasn't as bad as last week, someone got punched in the head and died." Died. Dead. -- Story here: http://tiny.cc/667ek-- The last line "No arrests have been made in either fight. City officials have ordered the club to increase security." All I have to show after going to Temple is a lighter wallet, a sore ear 3 days later, and a desire never to return. **update - my sincerest thoughts and prayers to the aforementioned victim and his family**
by Clyde Budreau on To be useful, Bob is nicely laid out like a big square living room with dance floor right in the middle and seating is all along the perimeter. It's on the small side, but it's big and packed enough that it feels like a legit dance party. Reasonable $5 cover with DJs that knows whats up, except when they started bustin out the Reggaeton, which is not really my thing. The drinks could be a lot stronger though so I imagine this to be a prime spot to party on a weekday. Friendly bartenders and bouncers. No attitude crowd. But here's a PSA to some of the dudes that come here: Please don't start going up to girls from behind and start humping to our backs and think that you're dancing with us. You know who you are! Seriously! Whatever happened to asking?
