Benihana - An Experience at Every Table - Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi
by sonya d. on How great is that we got to dine in an Ethiopian Jazz club? It's such a great combination in my opinion, so much that I've told many people to try it. I don't think I could ever go wrong with a jazz lounge in general, but I hadn't really tried Ethiopian food before coming here. Now, I'm a fan. We ordered the Vegetarian Combination plate, which came with the bread you use to eat with. Everything was very tasty. I had read on Rateclub that I should try the Honey wine, and even though I love honey and I love wine, the two together didn't do it for me. It was way too strong and almost syrupy. I guess I'll stick to honey beer in the future. On top of eating good food, we got to hear live jazz musicians perform amazing tunes throughout the night. They were super talented and impressive. It was a very chill scene, and everyone was really friendly. It's a great place to go to on an evening when you want to eat good food and relax.
by Cindy W. on We came to see Cheb I. Sabbah play here last summer and the experience was very enjoyable. We went with a group of about six, so it is a good place with lounging areas for bigger groups.
by Judson Childres on friday night: arrived a half hour after guest list but they still let us in - nice. music was hip hop/top 40 - decent. drinks - nice and strong. crowd - way asian & in this particular experience, not the friendliest. decent place to go with a good group of friends but not very mingle-able. street parking in the area was make-sure-you-use-the-club scary too.
