by Krystle M. on Why does everyone like this place so much??? It can be fun however more often than not I end up feeling like i'm in a totally overcrowded space with a bunch of ravers on drugs. Sure the art is good but its hard to enjoy with that terrible techno music they are usually playing with bizarre mix of the after work crowd and the ravers that have decided to bring out their glow-sticks far before the sun has even gone down. I'm not hating on ravers at all...a lot of us have been through that stage, myself included...but really??? At 6pm on a Thursday???

I have a very limited tolerance for trying to get myself into Hollywood joints where the music is all the exact same with pricey drinks (duh). But I paid the $20 cover and enjoyed a pretty dope DJ set on a Sat. night. I'm down for originality if I'm paying to get into a joint. Saw some LA Clippers and Reggie Miller in the VIP having a lap dancing contest. It escalated into some raunchy business, but this is Hollywood baby!! Beautiful ladies inside. Love the LED lights behind the bar. Hottest club in LA I'd say.
by Charlotte S. on I went bowling here last night with my boyfriend and another couple and had a GREAT time!!! It really is amazing how you can do anything in this city... how random is it see a building that you never would think inside is a huge bowling alley. The bouncers are dumb indeed and do seem to take their job a tad too seriously but they weren't complete assholes they just checked our id's and let us in... also there was no wait (I went on a Thursday - I would probably never go on a weekend)... And you only had to give 1 shoe to get your bowling shoes... The waitress staff was very attentive with drinks! I thought it was clean and I thought the balls were fine! Perhaps I'm not exactly a bowling expert but it did indeed provide a great night out. One negative was we got sandwiched between a couple on each side of us that looked like kids from NYU that just came to the 'big city' and were making out and slobbering all over each other. Anyway I would highly recommend going for a night out with friends!! I know I will go back.
