by carolina a. on A couple, friends of mine went there to try to dance some salsa... The place was good, not a fan yet, but i would go there again for the MUZIK!! Its better to take your partner because the instructors don't have much time, to many people. I had fun, nice friendly atmosphere, the drinks were not that good, bartenders need more training. Nice style, brick walls, cute place... they say the food is good, I will have to try it next time. To learn salsa, seems fun and not expensive $5/ person...
by Chris R. on Nice restaurant for the price. We went to TOP FLR Friday night. We had a reservation and we were about 15 minutes late and they nearly gave our table away. This is a small restaurant, so I would recommend making a reservation and being on time (unlike us). The menu is short and to the point. The food selections are fairly basic, but all done to exacting standards. We had the tuna tartar appetizer and it was delicious. For my entree, I ordered the roasted chicken and a side of Mac and Cheese. The mac and cheese was awesome. They blend a little bit of spinach and some kind of hot sauce in the cheese and it makes for a nice, rich side that gives any meat dish a comfort food feel. The service was decent, but not great. I think the size of the restaurant makes it a little hard for the staff to move around. I was impressed with the menu prices though. Entrees ranged from $10-$20, but they are served al-a-carte. There were 4 of us, all drinking adult beverages, and our bill was $145. Not bad for an upscale place.
by Brady Penanegra on RALF!! The food is horrible! Calamari and coconut shrimp were decent but do NOT order the cheese dip with chorizo and chips. The dip came out in a creme brulee-like dish and it seriously looked like creme brulee- Ick!! It looked like they popped it in the microwave and put it on a plate and surrounded it with generic chips. After the cheese was done we were able to scrape out a red ring from the dish, i.e. cheese residue, which looked like a plastic slice of red bell pepper. The reason I'm even giving this 2 stars is cuz I did have 2 good drinks, including a strong Kettle One martini. However, the server we had seemed like she had one too many of these since she gave us the wrong bill AND the wrong change afterwards.
